Real Estate

In the area of real estate law, he handles the simplest residential purchases, sales and refinancing, to complex subdivisions, land trust transfers and conversions to cooperatives or condominiums.

His commitment to assisting individuals and businesses, and special expertise in dealing with government agencies, is supported by the four (4) terms he served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. From 1995 through 1997, Mr. Guernsey gained valuable Washington experience and experience in running a large governmental department, with all kinds of contracting and personnel matters, from his appointment as Director of Domestic Programs, a senior staff position for the Peace Corps in Washington, D.C. Ethan S. Klepetar, Attorney at Law, focuses his practice on civil litigation.  Mr. Klepetar has represented clients in a wide range of civil litigation issues, focusing on employment law, business transaction disputes, and personal injury work.  Examples of his cases include employment discrimination and sexual harassment claims, wage violation claims, business and family partnership disputes, personal injury claims for automobile accidents and slip and fall cases, landlord-tenant disputes, and Constitutional rights violations. 

Attorney Klepetar also has experience drafting workplace policies such as employee handbooks and Written Information Security Programs, the latter of which is required for organizations to comply with the Massachusetts regulations concerning the protection of personal information. 

Mr. Klepetar graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University in 2004 and he received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2007, where he participated in the Maynard Pirsig Moot Court.  Mr. Klepetar was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2007, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  To e-mail Mr. Klepetar, click here.

In addition to holding a J.D., Jon Marks is a Registered Investment Advisor. His legal experience, combined with his experience as a Technical Stock Analyst, and his service as a Senior Research Analyst for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, makes him a valuable resource for the firm. Mr. Marks devotes a significant part of his time to serving CAMP clients. 

Mr. Marks received his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law, Cleveland State University (1982), and his Bachelor of Arts from The College of Wooster (1978).  He has long been an active volunteer for several local not-for-profit orgainizations, and currently serves as the Treasurer for the Berkshire County chapter of the American Red Cross.
